Day 1:
Pick up Transfer to Kibale national park

Your Uganda safari begins with early breakfast at your hotel or pick up from the airport in Entebbe, transfer to Kibale forest national park with lunch stopover in Fort Portal. You will have an evening relaxing at your lodge or you can take a nature walk around the lodge.

Day 2:
Chimpanzee trekking

After breakfast, you will head out to the park headquarters for briefing from the park warden before heading to the forest for chimpanzee trekking. You will return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon relaxing at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, you will visit Bigodi swamp for a bird watching walk.

Day 3:
Kibale - Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a leisurely breakfast, you will have a scenic drive through Ruwenzori mountains to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will arrive in good time for lunch at Mweya. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel where you will be able to spot some species of over 600 found here. There are lots of animals also to see including waterbucks, different monkeys, elephants, buffalos among others

Day 4:
Chimps Tracking in Kyambura Gorge

After early morning breakfast embark on a game drive towards the Kasenyi track for lions and other predators who are very common in this area. In the afternoon, a chimpanzee trek in Kyambura Gorge. Depending on time, a forest walk in the Maramagambo forest to the Python Cave can be arranged for you.

Day 5:
Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi National Park

In the morning, after breakfast, you will proceed to Bwindi through south of Queen Elizabeth national park – Ishasha Game Reserve for viewing tree-climbing lions as they relax in the fig trees. After your lunch at a hotel, proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening.

Day 6:
Gorilla tracking in Bwindi

In the morning, after breakfast, report to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the mountain gorilla trackers code of conduct. This activity normally ranges between 2 to 8 hours subject to the movements of the gorillas in the rain forest. In the evening visit the Pygmies (Batwa) for cultural entertainment.

Day 7:
After breakfast traverse the scenic “Switzerland of Africa” (Kigezi highland) to lake Bunyoyi. On arrival at Lake Bunyonyi you will sail on a motor boat to an island and share more experiences with the Pygmies.

Day 8:
Bunyoyi - Kampala

After breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala with stopovers at the Equator for photography and lunch. on arrival in kampala, you will be dropped off at your pick up point or be transferred to the airport.
